Excellent capture showing great colours and detail.Like the POV and you capture the small flowers so well.
When photographing butterflies what is the best mode to use.I am hoping maybe this year I may be able to get some shots.

I love this composition , the contrasts offered by the beautiful butterfly, and the very way you have composed.The white flowers on the right bottom corner is quite attractively placed. I wonder how you could manage this frontal Pov since usually they tend to move away when they feel the slightest movement infront of them, especially when their wings are in open position.Great colours, and details...Very well done and into my favourites...

Again a beautiful composition my friend, the Map looks so refreshing on the greens and whites of its immediate environment, a fine piece of nature indeed! Somehow that parsley reminded me our alluring Parsley Frog from the Caucasus region, hope Bayram posts the image of one in the near future...

Beautiful composition and unorthodox POV. May be shooting from a distance made it possible. The picture do have that feel of increased depth, white flowers and darker BG makes it more appealing. TFS

You photo is a very nice close-up of this butterfly
I am impressed by the DOF your image has as you have used a relative great aperture. Very inspired shot as the white spots from butterfly's wings seem to be a continaution of the flower over the insect.

Hi Ulla. I have read you notes and the late one in july time is a lot different not at all the same. This one you have for us stands out so well on the cow pasley. You have captured fine detail with your sharp focusing. rich colors and a nice POV. well done TFS.

Great comp and POV, the low key exposure works for me.
Nice detail/DOF and color. 1/1600th would make it easier to shoot handheld :)
I could never pull this of @ F/4.5 with my set-up.

What a beautiful and excellent capture of this beautiful Map butterfly!! I like a lot the POV and composition with the butterfly upon the Cow Parsley so sharp and clear. Both subjects stand out perfectly against the fine blurred green bg. The colors are intense and very attractive.

What an incredible composition! This entire shot screams out to be noticed from the position of the subject, the colors that meld into a seamless pattern, and the clarity of the butterfly. There are many colors, flowers, grass, and available subjects here, but you took a busy scene and made it into a simple yet superb photo. Excellent job, my friend.
