A very precious shot in this season for babies. The babies are adorable and the mother's posture is fascinating. They remind me of the Quails here that are marching around with their new families - one has 21 babies!

how funny! Aren't they just like regular children? I agree, Mum doesn't seem to care as long as she and her brood afe safe. I love the composition - she's a real testiment to single mothers is she not? Nice perspective and the goslings are amusing. Thanks for sharing.

Nature can be so cruel!
As you say, we always feel that these little bundles of fluff are particularly cute! Reality is not so gentle!
Still, a good shot with lots of interesting details. Good composition.

If there is anything in this world you are missing in quality...I must say cute....cute is something you do as well as "delicate"....I almost feel as though I have some sort of family connection or genetic or genealogical, as your words an images often mimic those things which I have learned from my very old English roots...and this image is no exception. As a matter of fact it shows a certain amount of pride in the young and the mothers...and it is after all said and done well seen.

What a cute family they are Ulla. I guess with all those babies Mama doesn't worry about them fighting together. She looks like she would protect them from outside harm, but within the family anything goes!
