Really splendid shot and excellent capture, so sharp and clear. It is Misumena vatia indeed and it looks as agressive as the one I saw a few weeks ago. It is curious that this spiders have chosen this flower for his lodging, for, as you well say, it is really conspicuous there.

Since I too shot my first Crab Spider recently, I am thrilled to see your picture of it, Ulla.
This is a strappingly healthy specimen sitting smugly on a beautiful blue flower. The colour of the flower provides a lovely contrasting BG for the subject and adds great value to the composition as a whole.
Excellent focus, details and colours.
