I'm always jealous when I see this, I never had the chance to make a shot of a flying dug.
They are too fast for me, I never find them looking through the camera ;-(

A great Gert shot, and considering its in a snow storm, I think its a great shot, the composition and blurred snow make it quite attractive.

Here in Wollongong (80km sth of Sydney), its 7pm and still 43 C, our hotest day in 69 years. The sweat is pouring off me as I sit in front of the computer.

Happy New Year! Cool shot. Reminds me old Soviet Communist Party leaders who have raised their right hands and watching parade with cold look. It's very difficult to get such a composition and quality in such conditions. Well done!

Your portfolio is full of amazing bird pictures - most of which are winners. This is outstanding because of the colours, action, and the "imperfections" created by the snow storm. Indeed it is those streaky snow lines that add to the drama of this shot. And a good note. Many thanks,
