A wonderfull collage of this blackbird. They are all sharp and have a good point of view. Ik like it this way. The blackbird does'nt look very hungry at this temperature. Thanks

Hi Gert,
this collage ist wonderful.
Normaly I don't like these birds so much, they are sitting on the house where I feed the birds and no other smaller bird has a chance to come nearer. But in your stots he is beautiful, the eyes are so clear and sharp.

Nice series Gert very difficult to shoot under those conditions. Top left is the best of them, and I love the detail in it.
The Bush/ tree it is feeding on is Taxus baccata (Yew) thank you for braving the conditions to share them with us.

Great collage of the fluffed up blackbird. We have them here, but they don't look like this as it never gets this cold! I love his yellow eyes, well captured - all of them, thank you...

Great poses from this photogenic blackbird. Every shot is so sharp and well composed. The light is perfect despite the difficulty of black on white. Striking color contrasts of the black bird on white snow highlighted by that very yellow beak.
