Hi Gert,
Outstanding exposure here. The overcast light has allowed the colors to really be well saturated. They look great! A very difficult exposure that you handled perfectly. Great detail, and perfect DOF control. Very well done my friend!

A well captured pic here as the snow and the black colour of the bird contrast each other and I know from experience how difficult it can be to get it correct. Good detail, Sharpness, Comp and POV. TFS,

Exceptional image of this beautiful black bird!

I love the softness of the feathers, the great contrast between it and the snow, the wonderful eye contact, and this great white mouthful in his orange beak!

Details, and exposure are perfect.

Hi Gert:
I love your blackbird in the snow. Crisp focus and lovely variations of blacks in the feathers. The background is a bit busy and I would have been tempted to clean it up a bit using cloning, particularly those slightly distracting lines between the bills in its open mouth.

What a fantastic shot, the composition is just perfect with a wonderful POV and pose. the detail is superb and the colours are beautiful, I have created a theme that features National Symbols and was looking for a Blackbird for Sweden, I knew I would find a good one in your collection.
