If photography sometimes transcends the stigma of being dubbed the handmaid of technology, it happens at moments such as this one.
This photograph is not just the recapture of a moment in time; it is THE MOMENT when the soul of man in expression of art reveals itself in its fullest glory.
The park is desolate, empty and silent. But it is not dead. I can hear the birds' cries and children's laughter still echoing amid those benches and bridges.
It will be back soon -- same but still not the same. Another moment in time.

Gert, I have done what you asked for in your comments, more insects... looking at this one I would ask you to post more landscapes from time to time too.
Very nice scenary to look at, great colours and natural details. It is impossible to see this here, so thanks for sharing.

Well composed scene Gert, excellent. I like the WS very much also. With the global warming pattern we are in, I think the winters are milder for the most part everywhere..I've noticed it has disrupted the normal migration of birds here this year.

Gert, this is great seeing your 'winter playground' and there are only 2 ducks(?) to be seen. But I can see many more in your WS, which is as attractive a scene as this one is.
It is a onderful composition of this pretty place. Very good POV and great colours and lighting. And I am happy knowing that you are standing on a bridge.

Its damn cold Gert! I dont know how you guys cope! I am slowly adapting to this climate and when I see pictures like yours I see why I am enjoying it here at the moment although suffering from lack of 25+ temps.

Went Diving yesterday in Vagnharad, it was Cooooolddddd!!! -15 with water temp 4+ it was warmer to stay in the water than to be out. The worse was when i did have to get out all the equipment froze almost instantly. With yet a second dive to do, the only option was to go back in the water to see if I could free up the regulator and other bits and bobs, thank god it worked.

Its so funnt you have taken a shot like this with no animal subjects, as yesterday I done the same, think i will post it later on.

So this is THE place.
It is very interesting to see both views of the place my friend took so beautifull photos.
Now I understand why some of them have those reflections in the water: so many trees around.
