Excellent pos you caught!
The picture is very sharp and clear, a bit noise but I know that what happens when you use raw, have you tried to use NI to clean the noise?
The details are excellent, that is the advantage of using raw!

Perfect, Gert! Couldn't be better technically as well as on an artistic point of view. These shots are not easy, because we shoot them more often when they fly away then when they fly in :-)). Do I read in his/her eyes that he/she hesitates on the landing spot? This is a winner, definitely.

I too want to by a gull which I can hang from the ceiling against a pretty backdrop. Just kidding. It's magnificent and so well captured.

A really great picture of a very commonly observed bird! It seems about to fall out of the sky onto the viewer, and has really great clarity. Like your lady, my first thought was it looks like a picture of an angel.

Your flying photo's never cease to amaze me!
Another brilliant capture! Perfect sharpness and exposure, and you've froze the action nicely.
You've obviously got a lot of skill with the camera just to catch the bird, and probably a lot with photoshop, but then we'd have to see the original image!! :)
