I’m never sure about damselflies; this is maybe a Coenagrion pulchellum.
If I’m wrong help me with the ID. It’s very common anyway; I found a lot of them by the small pond just outside the Gävle City Park, where you can find very many spices of dragon- and damselflies.

Technique:
Sigma 180 mm Macro Ex HSM
ISO 100 - 2/3. Raw-format.
Converted, contrast and levels resized to 800 pixels, USM save as JPG for the site.
I used Adobe Photoshop CS and Neat Image for PP

Another pleasant presentation of these insects Gert... and in this case in the plenary of pairing.
Very good sharpness, mainly in its wings (difficult in these situations) with good frame and DOF.
The differences of colors in the eyes of both specimens its very showy.

Great detail and excellent composition, the light is perfect. The OoF background is really good, allows us to concentrate on the damselflies.

This is one of the best "tamdems" I have seen until now, evething is sharp, detailed and under control. Very good composition for an excellent post. Congratulations again Gert.

Beautiful capture of the happy couple Gert. I think these are of hte Genus Lestes, it's likely they are Scarce Emeralds (L. dryas).

Great shot, colours are beautiful.

Beautiful capture with excellent DOF - the F-18 paid off nicely ;-). They're definitely not coenagrions, they're the ones with blue-black tails in varying patterns. These are lestes, either dryas - as suggested by Paul - or sponsa, which is probably the most common of the two varieties, at least here in DK.
