[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is taken with the new Sony A100 DSLR and with my new lens, a Sigma 17-70/2.8-4.0,a quite cheap lens, I had it for a test but it is very good in sharpness so I bought it.
It have a nice macro function 1:2.3 with 70mm and with 0,2 m but but but you have to find a very co-operative model since you stick the lens into it’s face. The distance to the front-lens is just a couple of mm. I’m longing for a Sigma 180 mm macro, but it’s a long delivery time for it, almost a month.
I hope you like the small hoverfly sitting in the rudbeckia.

Sigma 17-70/2.8-4.0 DC, ISO 200, JPG!!, Av-mode, pattern metering.
Levels, Contrast, Crop, resized to 800 pixels, USM on the B/W channel in lab-colours. I used Adobe Photoshop CS2 for PP

A wonderful shot again. I see you don't have problem with focus. You manage A100 very well. But I wonder that you've had already sigma lenses or you bought them after camera buying. I think, I need your comments to buy a lens for my camera. Greetings

What an amazing picture! I have heard that the sigma lens is very good and your picture is a proof of that! You did a remarkable composition by having the rudbeckia in the right corner. Great pov and I like also the blurry bg! Great picture and TFS,

A very nice macro! The color saturation and detail in this looks superb. The lens does appears to do an excellent job. The working distance would be a problem. This gave amazing DOF for F11 at that working distance. Very nice my friend!
