Hi Gert,

Vey nice capture with good sharpnee and great colors,FYI the first time I tried my sigma 50-500 on the sony autofocus did not wor as well,so thought it might not be compatible or something,but when I switched of camera and disconnected and connected lense again and turned camera on focussing was working again,maybe sony/sigma bug?

A beauty of a shot on this little Nuthatch. Flawless composition and framing. I love how they always face down the tree. Nice soft sunlight and a spot on exposure. Colors and detail look superb. Great OOF backround. Excellent camera work my friend!

Sorry to hear about you AF...but, on the brigt side - here's another demontrastion of how acurate you can be with the manual one :)
Anyway, this little bird is very beautiful and very skilled - if you say it can climb down a tree :)
The details and comlors are excellent, the POV geat and the DOF impeacble!

Hello Gert,
nice close-up with sharp details of this nuthatch. Paul (PVS) posted a nuthatch some days ago, and on the workshop I did on his picture he mentioned that nuthatches in Sweden have a white breast. I can see this clearly in your image.

What a remarkable pîcture of this Nuthatch!!! He looks like our Red-Breasted Nuthatch we have here in Quebec! You managed magnifically the exposition in order to see all the different white taints! You did also a very good composition and finally I like the blurred green bg enhancing the bird! Great picture and TFS,
