Amazing capture Gert! One foot but he looks quite fit. I've tried to make knee bending on one leg but without success :-) I'm not good candidate for a bird ;-)

Hello Gert! What I like most about this one is your near ground-level POV. I like the light and pose that has shown the missing foot so well..The grass-line meeting your clean OOF BG sets the bird-off very well also. I like it and very well done!

Nice picture.. I tried many times to get a good photo in Norway of this type of bird... You see them a lot up north.. Aldo you see them here in holland aswell.. Well done!

Great capture. Lovely low angle. You must have got soaked lying on wet grass to take this. REally like the leg up - poor guy. Fantastic details.

Gert, this bring brings back memories. When I was a little boy, I used to handfeed a wagtail with a foot like this. He came round to our house for several years. Thanx for rekindling the memories. Great shot.
