[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I’m not sure what a kind of damselfly but I think somebody knows.
I took this with my Sigma 100-300 / 4 @ 193 mm with a extension tube.

Technique:

ISO 100 , Man focus, Raw-format converted in Photoshop CS to Adobe RGB 16B/Channel ,contrast and levels ,croped, resized to 800 pixels , USM , converted to sRGB save as JPG for the site.

Hi Gert, great shot. The composition and lighting in this highly detailed photo are excellent. Superb.

The genus is definitely Lestes, I this it is a female Lestes sponsa but need to make sure when I have my books to look at.

Otra bonita composicion con un agradable POV del insecto.
Buena agudeza con excelente colorido y profundidad.
El encuadre de la imagen es muy atinado con la percha del insecto sobre un extremo.
