Their tabby plumage is beautiful and you've expressed it very well, Gert. Perfect pose too, and nothing else than the bird in his magnificence. You are lucky to have them in Scandinavia now. They will only come back here in winter.

Glad you restrained the sharpening on this - it is a little soft, but the details would have been lost. Shows the distinguishing color under the wing, the beak structure, etc. very well

Excellent shot, the background is amazing. Looks prety sharp to me, exept around the head which is very slightly fuzzy. Perhaps its a bit to centred. But its better than anything I can produce, well done.

Thank you very much for sharing this more tha a decent picture. BG, pose, sharpness, DoF, PoV, eye, colors. All is perfect. The only nit is perhaps the noise under the tail but who cares. It must be caused by the reduction for the site.

I think you have managed to catch a very decent shot of this redwing Gert.
Love those eyes, and it is clear to see why he would be difficult to spot out in the woods.
