This two Whopper Swan are now gone from our small river. They start to build a nest but they was disturbed of all the people who came to see them so they left.
I have post picture of this shy and beautiful swan earlier.
This is the last picture I got of them.
It’s a beautiful bird. The body is white but the long neck is in brown tones, looks like they are dirty, but it the way the look. I hope you like it too.

The Whooper Swan can be told from the Bewick's by its larger size, longer neck and larger amount of yellow on the bill. It is a similar size to the Mute Swan but easily distinguished in good light by the bill colour and shape. In silhouette, it has a straighter, less-bowed neck and holds its head more horizontally than the Mute Swan

Gert, a very nice couple.

You managed to capture well the texture upon their feathers. Besides, great colors and composition.

Excellent capture of these 2 beautiful swans Gert. Such a pity about them moving house. It must be hard for them to find safe and quiet places for them to nest.
Very well composed with good details and sharpness. Good job.

Fantastic shot Gert! Just perfect - no nits, not one..Very well done my friend!!

Two beauties indeed. Very good capture Gert. Great dof and very well exposure. Just the (I don't know what they are) 'things' on the top of the background could be cloned out IMO.
Well done.
