Hi Gert,
Excellent macro. Details and colors are very good. Something is bothering me with the composition. Maybe it has been cropped too much. I think that a little more background could have been nice. My girlfriend tried to shoot a butterfly similar to this, but it kept flying around without resting. So it was simply impossible.

Wonderfully captured with an abundance of detail. Great textures on the wing and the color is right on target! Crop might be a little too tight - but that's more a matter of taste I guess.

Well done, Gert!
It is not easy to capture Machaonfjärilen as the don't often settle. I have seen this butterfly many times but I think it is the first time that I have seen it on a dandelion.
This is a fine sharp shot, the focusing directed where it ought to be. Excellent composition and BG.

I agree with you that this one is very special! I think it is the "exotic" look that appeals to us and it is not often you see them, and when you do they pass quickly. I think you managed very well indeed to catch this, sharpness is great and colours natural and I like its pose on the flower.

Magnificent portrayal of this swallowtail, no doubt this is one of your favourites. Vivid colours, delicate patterns, sharp details and a classic pose. The yellow flower adds so much colour and tone to the shot. Excellent POV and DOF. The BG eloquently depicts the environment. Very nicely composed. Kudos.

Big WOW my friend :-) Butterfly in Sweden and one of most beautifull ones! Congratulations for this catch. Very clear and sharp, nice POV, BG and colours. Tip of wing is slightly blurred but it's only minor nit. Great post Gert!
