Hello Gert

excellent capture of this Black-veuned White.It is common in the Eastern part of Jutland and I have seen it often on Molslaboratoriet where I spend a day walking in the area and taking pictures. I have not seen any in my local area around Aarhus.

Very good composition and the colours work great with the white butterfly on the blue flower. Well blurred background to set the subject off nicely. Excellent sharpness all over the main subject.

This is really one of my favourite butterflies, it is so beautiful and your capture of it is stunning. Excellent sharpness and fine wing colours - it looks very fresh! The beautiful greens in the background set it off very nicely.

Thanks for welcoming me to Trek Nature. I appreciate your visit and the critique you left me. I am sure I’ll enjoy every moment and that my knowledge about nature and everything involved will grow daily. Although this “B/W Beauty” is one of your older postings, my eyes became aware of it immediately. Reason being that I just love the colour purple, and this purple flower stood out like a sore thumb. I could not miss it. The detail on both the flower and the butterfly is outstanding. I like the fine hairs as well as the black outlines on the butterfly. The combination of black, white and purple colours fit well together, and the blurred green background completes this special photo.
