This is a funny one Mikael! We do feel the sense of speed very well here. This is not an easy shot to achieve and you did well. This blurriness creates an interesting speed impression. This little one didn't feel like meeting you :) This is a good composition! Thanks,
Claudine

Hi MIkael.
Fantastic expressive action shot. Perfectly reproduced speed and movement. Amazing pose and details of the deer. Excellent blurred BG and superb technique of shooting. Bravo. Extraordinary shot.

Nice action shot, Micke!

Nice panning Mikael! Looks like you gave him quite a fright! You really captured the speed by choosing to pan and use a slower shutter speed. It is interesting that you caught him with no legs outstretched. Nice work.

Nice action shot. None of his feet are on the ground, he is in good focus, and the BG is nicely blurred. I like the crop as well showing where he is headed. TFS

Hej Micke!
Great action shot of a running Roe Deer buck. To have captured it so sharply at only 1/160 sec shows great panning skills. Fine composition too.
Well done and TFS!

Ivan

Hello Mikael,
Amazing picture! I'm astonished that you took it with this shutter speed. The result is just great. Excellent composition with the animal having all this space in front of it (Otherwise it would run out of the picture!)
Bravo

Detta måste ju vara Sveriges snabbaste bock:-) Vad gjorde du för att skrämma iväg honom så?;-)

Riktigt snyggt skott med fin mix av skärpa och oskärpa, härlig fartkänsla i bilden!

Very nice photo with lot of action!

Mvh Peter

Hi Mikael

This guy is moving...I mean, as in the speed of white-light. Did you pull your face at him or did he just see your Canon and misread the signs by thinking it is a cannon. Anyway, both can shoot so he probably didn't want to stick around to figure out which is which (chuckle).

Excellent reaction on your part though. Normally when a deer or whatever animal decides to vamoose it usually happens too quick to even say "GitchyGoomy" and by that time the animal is gone with the wind. You did great to capture the degree of details you got here and the impression of movement and speed is well expressed.

Great work and TFS.
Regards
Loot
