This is a great picture with a lovely pose. Pity about the straws but thats nature, as all the twigs we are fighting

A great picture of this curious fellow,well captured with nice colors and details,in fact this is one of those shots where it does not matter if the straws covers part of the body,actualy it makes the compo more pleasant to watch,TFS

Hi Mikael.
Very nice picture with excellent rich and pleasant to eye colours. I also like the grass at the BG. In spite of the fact that it blocks a part of the fox face, it gives to the picture of greater truthfulness. Vertical cropping of the shot, amazing blurred BG supplements the great impression from the shot. My compliments and TFS.

Ah Mikael,
a young fox...a nice shot. The grass sprouts don't bother me at all...in fact it adds to the situations in which you can see these animals. Bit of an anbush and suddenly captured.

Even though the grass and the shadows are concealing, the photo still works out fantastic. The warm light on the pelage makes this a very rich capture. :)

Hi Mikael,

What a shot, the light is amazing and really highlights the fox, the fact half the face is in shade and the other in sun is a good contrast. The damp hair has given an interesting texture to the coat and though the grass is directly in the way it is not too detrimental to the shot, I imagine as well that this was the only front on shot you got before she moved again so you did well to get this sharp without focusing on the grass.

Hello Mikael,
I was sure that I had written a critique on this picture..and it is not there. So I start again.
Wonderful the eye-contact with the little fox. The composition is great too, the grass in the front is just at the right place, beautiful blurred background too. This picture must be a great pleasure for kids.
