What a charming capture of this lovely colored jay!
Yes, indeed, the light here is excellent and together with the pose of the bird made sure that the head was so nicely lighten.
The exposure is also spot-on and the details are wonderful and very sharp.
The composition is also lovely with that diagonally positioned branch as well as with sufficient room in the direction the bird is looking at.
Superb job!

Ahh, den där skulle man ju ha i arkivet själv! Guldljus och mycket fin skärpa. Tycker det är bra känsla i bilden, de är inte så lätta att tas med dessa skygga fina fåglar!
