Hello Gert,

I see that I have to a lot learn for take bird in the nature, I look with a great attention to your fantastic portraits from birds.
I know that the 400 L USM a very sharp and good lens, I have a 100-400mm L IS now, I shall carry out experiments and hope to make a good image.
Splendid picture with a very great quality, my compliments.

A splendid shot here and one that acts superbly as a greetings card. :)
As we have come to expect from you, the tit here is presented in a simply perfect way - with loads of razor sharp details, with a exceptional light on it and with nothing else in the frame to distract.
Referring to the light, i must once again remark the great fill-in work of your flash. I should really learn how to do that better...maybe a New Year's revelation :)
I'd also like to take this chance and wish you and all your loved ones a warm and sincere Merry Christmas and also the best of everything of what the world has to offer in the year to come!
