This is a fantastic shot with this bird. The image is very sharp showingh even fine details of the bird. It is the light that impresse the viewer as there are so many wonderfull color tones rendered in the photo. There is a very good match between the colors of bird's plumage and the plants in the background.

Another beauty from you and a lovely dedication to one of the oldest members here - Steve.
Nice to see this beautiful female, too and i think that you managed an even more dynamic picture than the one from yesterday. The composition is simply outstanding and i really love the positioning of the bird in the frame - with plenty of room in the direction it is looking at. There was a slight wind probably, too and that actually adds to the dynamism of the shot instead of being distracting here.
Very well done with the exposure control, too, which resulted in some lovely colors again.

A beautiful picture to dedicate to Steve on his anniversary. This female is as wonderful as the earlier male. Her face is wonderful with the sparkling eye and adorable beak. I love the pose with the tail feathers up in the air.

a truly great portrait of this friend of mine, the Bearded tit. But I never made it that close and I was rarely ready to take a shot. The eye! I don't mind the few stalks, thats part of the environment. Nice and appropriate dedication too!
