Hej gert,
A very nice capture of a female Törnsångare with some nesting material in her beak. The un-cluttered POV is great and the composition with the OOF natural BG really sets her off in great lighting.
A wonderful remnder of summer and thank you for sharing it with us!

Hi Gert.
I do not remember Sigma 150-500 in your bag. Perfect use of this excellent lens. Handheld using impresses me too. Scene is amazing. And I like impressive lights on dark richly coloured BG. Cute birdy and wonderful set of thin twigs are reproduced precisely. POV and framing are brilliant as always. Bravo and all the best for you, dear friend.

Very nice "in-work" :)) shot of this lovely whitethroat.
I see you've used a bigger DOF here and i guess that's because you also wanted to catch the twigs he is building with here...and i think you did great. Everything here is in nice focus and presented very sharply.
Wonderful colors both on the bird and in the BG, wonderful composition and a nice note to go with it all, too.

What a beautiful image of the Whitethroat while in work.
I like a lot the subtle lighting and the the way the subject stands out from the nicely blurred background.

Hi Gert,

That's a smart bird!!! Why should the male finish a nest and then have the female complain about it? Brilliant to finish it together - it will be the way she wants it :-) This Whitethroat is beautiful as well as smart. He collects the way the Cactus Wren does with as much in his mouth as possible. Colors, clarity and composition are superb - a true ellis49 photograph.

thanks for your recent critique, good to see you're still posting here, I hope you are well. Another rainy weekend here, the 6th in a row, not much of a summer, I may get out tomorrow afternoon, but then its going to be windy!!!!!

Cool shot of this species I've not seen before. Great shrapness with that big lens and hand-held too, impressive. Great composition and OOF background.

Hola Gert,

muchos dias ya sin visitarte. Veo que sigues con un trabajo impecable y no te cansa de plasmar las bellezas de la naturaleza. Como siempre un bello trabajo, en este caso plasmas el ave con mucha naturalidad, sin buscar efectos extanos sino mostrarnos el hábitat y costumbres de esa pequeña ave y lo consigues perfectamente.
