Hi Mikael. This is a first class close up of the Wodpecker. Your lens has done a fantastic job . You have taken it with sharp focusing and fine detail . all with bright colours. Aso good detail in the small amount of snow on the tree trunk. A good POV/DOF. well done TFS.Good notes too.

Hallo Mikael
This is a super sharp and really striking capture and you have managed to photograph it with brilliantly. For me the greatest attraction is the tiny patch of ruby feathers on the head and the rather huge black eye. The ice crystals on the beak adds speciality to this already special image. A really bautiful portrait of this woodpecker. Well managed exposure of the black feathers on the head. Well done on a great shot. Thanks for sharing this lovely image.
