Hi Ivan,
Excellent capture of this magnificant Bluethroat which is high in my list too. I have yet to even see one. Congratulations for your 400th post. Could not have better picture to celebrate that. Excellent pose and composition showing nice BG. The details are sharp and colours are bright and natural.

Hallo Ivan
This is such a neat and elegant looking bird. The blue on the throat completely looks like a bib. The blue is such a special colour and have an almost royalty to it. You have captured this bird with great detail and clarity. Here I especially refer to the tiny yellowish spot on the beak and visibility of the opening for the nose. Great stuff and thanks for this contribution.

The Swedish nigtingale is a beautiful bird especially in the summer plumage. When the are passing here they are more pale.
Beautiful colours, well exposed and with very good details.

This is a lovely capture in which the colors of this beautiful Bluethroat are superb and so well visible! The pach of light you managed to get on it is also terrific, while the pose - with the head nicely turned - adds a lot to the composition.
Very sharp and well exposed, this is a top post that markes this nice comeback of yours and this great landmark - 400th post :)

I have immediately added this to my theme of use of sun...usually meant for some such as symbolic however it is the closest I have without adding another theme...A very good if not great use of the sunlight. I met the species in last October in Nigde and Cyprus in several times. Since that time, I cant see it again.
