So this is another splendid shot of that terrific meeting between 3 top photogrphers of TN...superb work!
Now i know you benefit from a VERY good camera - your 5D - but this here is truely your merit: a shot so clear and sharp, taken handheld at 560mm, without IS and at ONLY (!!!) 1/250...fantastic! My hat's off to you!
Sharpness aside, the jay turned out wonderful here - with lovely colors and beautiful patterns on its plumage.
The DOF is also great - keeping the entire bird into excellent focus while blurring the BG so nice and uniformly.
Wonderful composition and pose, too!

This picture is simply excellent! Great sharp details and wonderfol colours. Diagonal branch is very nice on the composition. BG and DOF perfect!
