This is a magnificent capture of this eagle!
It's really good the illumination here and the clear and sharp details got.
I say it again, it's very good the sharpness and contrast of the image. I like it a lot.
Besides that, you catched a great pose with the wings partially extended.
Excellent POV and DOF used to put away the background, so beautiful in colors.

What a fantastic capture! This shot of the Golden Eagles has all the qualities of a top class shot, sharpness, bokeh Bg, excellent comp and pose and presented with first class colours and lighting.
As this was taken in the wild, it is one of the best bird posts on TN!

Hello Peter,

What an astonishing picture of this majestic bird! You managed to capture it in all its splendor! The composition looks OK with no distracting objects in focus. The soft and blurred background makes the eagle stand out perfectly. If it was my picture I would have added more space below the bird and crop off from the upper side of the image. But this is just my point of view. The silhouette of the half-open wings is excellent and easy readable against the blurred background.
Outstanding camera work! The correct exposure enabled you to capture great details in both shadows and highlights and the sharp details are a proof of an accurate focus! Very well done! Thank you!

This is a great photo, Peter! I really like the pose and the composition. The BG is great (thanks to this amazing lens) and the sharpness is impressive.

I just wish you would have wrote anything about the PP work in the computer.

Hi Peter,
This is a lovely picture of this beautiful bird and well worth the waiting time. Just the whites being over exposed. I am glad to hear the population is expanding. Here in the UK it seems to be the opposite. The only Golden Eagle in England lost its mate about 4 years ago and has failed to find another although there are some in southern Scotland, not many miles as the eagles fly.
Carry on the good work with the photo's.
