Taken at the Parken Zoo, about 1hr 30mins from Stockholm in Eskilstuna. It was a good day and we decided to venture out with the children to a zoo. The day was good as the weather was just right.
Here I am looking at these beautiful birds and just looking at there surroundings thinking what a poor animals/birds/insects that are stuck in this zoo for the public to see. Would it not be nicer for them to be free. Then again, not many people will ever get the chance to travel to such beautiful locations and areas to see such great wildlife.
I walked around looking at the white tigers, the black panther, and many other great animals. Not sure what was going through my mind apart from wanting to get out of the zoo, but still I was there for my children to see these lovely subjects and yes they loved it. Well there only 1 year old's but I could see in there eyes that they enjoyed looking at something different other than people grabbing them and ohhhhing at them. This time the ohhed at the beautiful animals on show.
Well I decided to spend more time looking at the captured birds and this one I just have no idea what it is. I just think that it is really a beautiful bird, I could have spent all day just sitting there watching these one go by me..... Well hope you like it. Sorry I can not give you more details on this one. I am not a person to read the details about whats in the cage... etc. |

Hey Demetrio,
A nice shot. I thought that it was a tad soft so I hope you don't mind, but I practiced my newly acquired photo editing skills, and posted a workshop for you. I also increased the saturation a bit to give it more richness of color. Well done on the shot. You certainly did capture the moment well, and your DOF and POV are both very good.
Regards
Zakiwi

Hi Demetrio, nice shot! I like the pose of the crane and it's a very good composition. Perhaps a little soft, I like Gabi's WS. You did well on the exposure here, the whites are fine. A little catchlight in the eye would also set this off. Well done and good to see a post from you.
