Today we had a lot of rain,so I post a picture taken last week during a short visit on the island Nåttarö (a small island of the stockholm archipelago),the grasshopper was about 2 cm lenght so not that big,hope you like it and tfw

Hello Paul,
Nice macro shot.
Very well chosen title and the diagonall lines of the grasses add to the image and do make the composition very good.
Soft out of focus background is also very nice, but the grasshopper itself seems to be a little under exposed and therefore does not show as much detail as normally.
I did rework the image a little for you in photoshop.

A nice photo but the lighting is a bit strong or maybe its the grasshoppers body reflexing the light to much. Its a nicely composed photo and with alot of captured details.
