BTW; How do you find A700, is the autofocus faster and more precise than A100 especially in bad light and how is the noise in high ISO.

Ha Paul,

Je hebt deze ree echt op heterdaad betrapt. Het leuke van natuurfoto's is dat je bij thuiskomst vaak details ontdekt die je op het moment van afdrukken niet hebt gezien. In het geval van de ree is het trouwens meer drukken dan afdrukken..

I like this a lot...It would be a great advert for sony with a caption like "The New A700 is so good it will scare the **** out of your subjects".!!..its a shame theres not a caption competion..maybe you should send it off for one....as for the picture..its tight where it should be but a little loose in certain areas!!.(please excuse my sense of humour)

Hahaha...you intruder, you :))
But i must confess, the timing here makes this picture so terrific and so funny!
That aside, the shallow DOF that you chose (also thanks to that wonderful lens you just bought) does very well and isolates your subject from all the tall grass around her.
The Details are nice and sharp, the composition is great and the POV...well :))
