Pied wagtail chases insect
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| Today it was a nice day overhere, but no photography, busy with cutting the hedge in or garden, made this capture of this pied wagtail a few days ago,it was sitting on the top of a barnroof and chasing small insects,I tried to capture it on picture as he did not bother me so much, but having some problems with these small flyers especially with the heavy lens handheld, but if you look closer you will see the midget and its shadow as well,it did not fly long anymore as the pied wagtail succeeded in its chase, tfw and till the next one |

Hello Paul,
Nice action shot of an adult White Wagtail chasing a midge taken with fine sharpness (the midge is sharp!) and lighting.
Rooftops are a typical modern White Wagtail habitat!
TFS,
Regards, Ivan
