I guess it's a heron... Although I'm not a specialist and don't know what kind of heron it is.
I took this photo accidentally while walking about Stockholm. I noticed the bird at Kungsholmen, near Västerbron (which is almost the very centre of the city). The bird was quiet, calm and didn't pay any attention to the people walking by.
Unfortunately, this photo is very blurry due to a x3 optical or maybe even x4,8 digital zoom (I don't remember now). I had no good camera at hand at that moment...
I don't often see herons in Stockholm. Although it's such an amazing city that you can often see hares running in the very centre of the city; or mooses and deer in the suburbs.
I placed this photo here not for the sake of it's being a "masterpiece" of digital "dummy" photography :) It's just for the sake of Stockholm :)

Hello Elena,
This would have been an excellent shot except, you have missed the birds eye, a most important feature to capture as it gives the bird character and life. Just a step either way would have removed the offending twig!
Don't be disheartened, every mistake helps us to improve next time!
Kind regards,
Bev :-)
