[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Today a partly sunny,but very windy day,in the forest the branches came regularly down due to the wind,had not been lucky to capture something new today,so had to dig in the archives again,this one of a couple of mating dragonflies,dont ask me which one,because I think it is quite hard to ID these guys,anyway I guess someone on TN probably knows,hope you like it and have a nice weekend,my last at home as I will go to sea again in the middle of next week.

Hello Paul,
This a fine capture of a pair of Common Darters in copulo (Sympetrun striolatum). The yellow streaks along the black legs help with the ID compared to other red darters.
NIce sharpness and lighting, the flash not causing any disturbing reflections.
Good substitute for the Black Woodpecker that you hoped for today.
