For those who like cones and conifers :)
I took a photo of this cone (and of some others) in Sätra, in the suburbs of Stockholm, after rain.
I don't know what sort of cone it is. It's big - about 10 cm long, it looks like a fir-tree cone but it grows on a tree which looks like a pine-tree :o)
I tried to find some info and photos of cones on the Net but I haven't found any :(

Hi Elena,
It looks like a very young cone of Pinus nigra, but it's impossible to fully identify the specie from this photo. But the tree's belong to Pinus genus without any doubt.
