Great spotted woodpecker. Taking off from the bird feeder in my garden. The feeder is an oak branch with holes drilled along its sides. The woodpeckers are happy searching food in cracks and holes and the model also protects the food from the greedy magpies.
Canon Mark II. ISO 6400; 1/3200; 5,6. Levels adjusted. Some noise due to the high ISO but not to disturbing in my opinion. |

Hi Caleb,
Welcome to Tn,a nice inflight capture although a bit noise is visible, maybe not disturbing for you,but easy to take away if you want, look in my ws,perhaps you could have captured this one as well with lets say iso 1600,the shutterspeed would have been still enough to freeze this pecker in flight and the noise would be conciderly less, anyway tfs and hope to see more of your work
