this is an excellent butterfly shot. Brilliant colours, excellent sharpness, POV and great bg too. This is an excellent composition. I think this is Heliconius eleuchia. Thanks for posting. Have a great weekend.

Hi Gert,
I've been reading about Bokeh, an interesting subject. I'm afraid I can't help with the ID (it's not a snow leopard :)) but beautiful shot, nice composition and perfect detail and exposure. f4 might have brought a little more of the leaf into focus but it certainly doesn't detract from your result here.

Great capture of a beautiful butterfly. Very nice colours, excellent composition. I really like the pose - it is just perfect imo.

I am not quite sure but I think it is a Postman butterfly - Heliconius melpomene. It belongs to the Nymphlidae family. I posted a couple long ago - you can see them here http://www.treknature.com/gallery/Europe/Denmark/photo3332.htm. I have lost the way to post it as a link so you will have to copy the adress.
