I like the pose catched and the beautiful light at the moment.
It's very good the small waves generated by the animal, creates a very good effect.

Good shot. Good content as well as this is one of the hundred wolves in Sweden. The wolve seems to be in good shape.
It must have been a close encounter and the animal didn't run apparently; a thirsty wolve and a hungry one as well?:-)

What a fantastic capture. This is absolutely beautiful. The look on the wolf's face is priceless. The comp is wonderful with perfect positioning of the animal in a wonderful setting. Excellent colors and details - I love it!

This is amazingly sharp Ralf. You say you shot this at 560mm. Were you using a 1.4x extender? I'm surprised it worked this well! I love your composition with the water rings It is wonderful.

Hur i hela friden har du lyckats med det här.( jag jobbar på en bildredaktion i och för sig som grafiker men har sällan eller aldrig sätt en så pass bra vargbild från sverige)
och på frihand? Jag skulle tycka det vore spännande att få lite bakgrundsfakta om bilden.

i like very much your wolf photo,
he has (almost) the same pose as a pointing dog
i like too the spiral effect on the water
