I saw this beautifull specie yesterday and it was for first time in my life. Excellent POV with rare view of opened wings. Great composition with dark tones and brighter orange spots. Great macro.

Jammer dat de punten van de vleugels in de schaduw zitten, want verder is het een schitterende foto. Het middendeel van de vlinder is bijzonder scherp en de kleuren zijn erg mooi. Genomen vanuit een erg goed standpunt. Fraaie compositie.

Hoi Paul,
Het effect van schaduw en licht maakt deze foto erg bijzonder. Het geeft het geheel net dat beetje extra. Het detail en de scherpte diepte zijn erg mooi. Maar ik vind vooral de schoonheid van de compositie goed.

You made an excellent capture of the female Brown Hairstreak with her wings open, an opportunity that does not often present itself.
The technical quality and POV are superb and the composition good too. Pity that her wingtips are in the shade though.
