[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Today’s post is a very tiny butterfly, a Pterophoridae and I think it’s a Stenoptilia Pterodactyla, I have no English name for it and no Swedish either. If hoverflies are hopeless to identify these are almost impossible IMO.
I have not much of this one but they are most active in nights and the wingspan is about 20-25mm, not much.
But I hope you like it anyway.

Canon 60 macro, tripod. Fill-flash,
ISO 400, Raw-format, manual mode, manual focus.
Convert, Levels, Contrast, Crop, resized to 800 pixels, Smart Sharpen on the B/W channel in lab-colours. I used Adobe Photoshop CS2 for PP

Hello Gert,
this is an unsusual butterfly, almost looks like a a wilted leave. Well seen and very nicely captured. Excellent POV to get a great view of all the wonderful details. Sharpness, colors and sharpness are great.

Hi Gert!
You've got very thin and starving butterflies in Sweden :-) Just joking - this one is on my wishlist. Very good macro with intersting insect and nice flower. Details are superb, pity that right wing is OOF. Anyway I'm glad that you catched it!

Nice detail here and the legs are very unusual looking too!

Hi Gert,
Excellent work with this Very tiny subject. I have seen similiar here, so I know just how small they are..Very good light, color, and sharpness. Well composed, nice POV and framing. I might've selected & ran some NR or light blur for the green areas of the BG..
Very well done.

Hi Gert,
Very good catch of this tiny creature [(that's why I must have missed the posting in the first instance :-)]. Since you provided the ID, I checked for the Swedish name and it's called Teveronikefjädermott (they don't seem to have a common name in English). There are over 50 of them to choose between in Sweden! And I'm not at all familiar with those moths, but I wish I could have the Kaprifolfjädermott (Alucita hexadactyla) for that seems to be outstanding amongst them. Couldn't you fix that some day :-)! Thank you very much for this interesting posting and the valuable ID (for now I can fit it into my systematics),
Goran
