Very nicely captured Mikael. Great detail. nice color. My only complaint would be that I wish there had been more light over his back. Ideal lighting is not always posible with wildlife photography unfortunately.

Hello Mikael,
this shot is excellent. i love how the image is so sharp, yet the bird displays such softness on its body. the colors on the trunk and the bird really compliment each other. and the sharpness is really fantastic.

Well, I have been without internet for a couple of days as we have been in the Pyrenees, but better late than never.
Without a doubt... this is the best photo of a tree creeper I have ever seen. Truly art! My deepest congratulations to this, Mikael!

Hello Mikael,
This is an excellent profile of a small bird! You captured it very good!
Composition:
Just wonderful! Your composition is simple and efficient! You placed the head of the tree creeper in a very powerful point of the composition! The perfect, "S" shaped profile silhouette is best seen from the side view and against a perfectly blurred background! The direct eye contact is another strong element of your photo! Very well done!
Colors:
The colors are kept to a minimum! But there are plenty of gray and brownish color tones! They look natural and well saturated!
Contrast:
I find the contrast a bit strong, probably due to the strong sunlight. However, this isn't distracting to me since the picture benefits from it. It helps defining the foreground better!
Exposure:
I guess the slight underexposure of the back of the bird was the price to pay for exposing the chest correctly in the bright sunlight. This is much better than overexposing the chest so IMO you made a great choice. I usually see this birds in dark forest but you were lucky to capture one in full light. The catchlights are a big bonus for this picture as they make the creeper look more alive!
Focus:
Very good focus on the foreground! The blurriness in the background makes me think you were pretty close to the bird since the aperture wasn't exactly wide open. However, this provided a very good sharpness with no fall-off on the bird's body!
An excellent work of art in spite of the harsh lighting conditions! Thanks for sharing!
With Friendly Regards,
Eddie

wonderful 'catch' of the tree creeper. The old berch is also very nice. Not easy to capture a tree creeper. I am still chasing
