The use of late afternoon sun made the qaulity it appears to me..Sooner and it would have been too much contrast. 2 hours or so past noon was perfect timing for your longitude. It does not get dark quite as early now but still only 1 1/2 months away from solstice. Very good!

Leave it to Ivan - seems like he can identify just about everything! A wonderful shot of this Hybrid Goose. The colors are rich and deep and the details are superb. I love the water - it is so blue with marvelous ripples.

Hi Ulla,

I never knew about the hybrid between these two geese. Very interesting thing! The photo is nice with thw contrast gray/blue and the sharp is good. In romania the minimum distance to do a photo with geese is 150 m.

This is a very interesting subject...i never saw one before wither...
You did good to photograph one...who knows, maybe a biologist would ask you for it one day :)
Image-wise, i like the lovely light here as well as the nice colors it got you.
The details on the goose are nice and sharp while the side POV is also excellent.

Personally I would not spot the difference, but then you have an expert by your side...

I feel that the goose looks at me (or at least at you -:). Is it truth?
Great image of the wonderful surroundings and bird. All is reproduced excellently.
Great colours. Amazing reflection in the water. Every feather of the bird is reproduced with great exactness. Even FG is very cute and supplements the scene nicely. My compliments for this sweet picture.
