Your notes and images are always thought provoking. I suppose there are many insects which one can confuse with others..I for one have a hard time, sometimes, of figuring out which is a moth of beauty and which is a butterfly. I have not yet fine tuned that area, but thanks to images such as this will notes etal, it helps teach. I shall add it to my blue theme collection.

I like learning from your notes and then dive into the picture. It's always a pleasure! This picture captured my attention - beside the fact that it's from you - especially due to the butterfly's color. I also like the composition very much and the combination of the delicate haulms carrying such a delicate animal is perfect.

They are hard to chase around ,and difficult to get open wing over here.
The pose and positioning in the frame are both wonderful.
