Wow, you couldn't give us a better dedication - I love this bird and this is a wonderful view of it! As usual your captures are technically brilliant and well composed too. Hi Gert,

I like this bird a lot. It's a pity you sharpened it too much. The colors and contrast are a bit overdone. I like it more the natural way. The POV and pose are very good.

That is a very good picture. First it is the excelent rasor sharp image with most delicate details of the bird. Good way of using the light having very natural color tones in the photo.

Hej Gert,
Many thanks for this marvellous dedication: we are both honoured and delighted that you should post a Siberian Jay, Lavskrika as the dedicated image. It is a superb capture, in my view not oversharpened and other technical as well as esthetic aspects are superb.
If I am lucky enough to take a picture of it this summer when my son and I travel to Southern Lapland I would be very pleased if I got a shot half as good as this!

Very beautiful shot Gert. The detail on this bird is incredible with very excellent colour. Your crop is very good positioning him perfectly in the frame. Depth of field is very good, providing a very pleasant bokeh behind the bird. I am going to have to find me some Falun Sausages. Enjoyed!

Hello Gert, this is a fine post of this beautiful Siberian Jay, its the first time I have seen one. The composition is perfect with the Jay perched on the snow laden branch. Great light and colours with a perfect dof and soft background, wonderful detail and focus.
