Hi Ivan,
what a nice image of this little Siskin.
You've composed it really well.
Excellent DOF and BG.
Great sharpness considering it was a heavy crop.
I think there's a slight blue colour-cast but the lighting and exposure is perfect.

Hi Ivan. This is not a bird i see very much of in Dorset yet we use to. looking at your picture shows the differen yellows and greens this little bird has which you show so well with good detail. a nice pose on the branch with the lichen.well done tfs.

An excellent hand-held capture of this cute greenish Siskin on an interesting perch Ivan, one recollects the winter conditions easily from the general colouration of the scene, but your "altered image # 2 looks as if photographed in summer! A queer play of colours, eh my friend?

I like it the way it is posted...I am partial to blue anyway...and if it be tinted so and if your white balance was set good then this is what it is...Not much we can do about some things...and I like it just this way...

I wish I could say snow less .. as we are battling another snowstorm.
I love this, the background colors are very intriguing and are definitely an excellent contrast to the colors of the bird.

Hi Ivan,
even if the white-balance is not correct, it's a very good picture of our grönsiska, well composed with good POV.
The details are well seen and the DOF is fine too, the whole bird in focus and it standout well from BG.

Hello Ivan,

Very nice presentation of this siskin. Excellent POV. Good sharpness. The luminosity is special with dominant blue tones. They are predicting a lot of wind and rain here also next week, nothing good to take pictures of insects.
