I liked this shot of Tree Sparrow taken with good point of View, The DOF is excellent making only the bird n perfect focus and the rest blurred. Good sharpness and details.Nice lighting too. Liked the picture of sunbather too.:)

Hi Ivan,
a very nice picture with good sharpness and fine details.
The exposure are spot on, all details in the plumage are well seen. I like the composition and POV too.
As Joe mention it has a small colours cast, you gave to start
shooting RAW then you set the WB when converting, if you are
using PSCS3 you also can correct WB for JPG-files.

So I think this is a very good POV, the pose let us appreciate very well the pattern and colours of the plumage.
DOF worked great to isolate the bird from the branches.

I don't think I've seen a Tree Sparrow before. At first glance I thought it was a House Sparrow. Great notes describing the difference. A crystal clear shot with great details and wonderful colors. Beautiful composition with the nice pose on the bare branches.

Hi Ivan, this is another beautiful bird picture of yours, with lots of details and beautiful sharpness. The pose of the bird is so nice and the composition pleasing to the eye. I also like your workshop picture, it's a different view and I like the small leaves around the bird. I also like Bob's workshop with earth tone filter, it adds warmth to the picture. Well, that's a lot of pictures to look at and it is so enjoyable. Thank you!

I just admire this photo. The details on the feathers are really stunning and it looks as if they were coloured painted by hand one by one. The layers of plumage are so precise and tidy. I like your very nice and useful note. And I like all your shared photos. But it seems to me the WS has more natural coloration. Pictured scene (I mean original picture) is so impressive and confirm your story. Excellent shooting distance, perfect DOF and, of course, great sharpness and details of the sparrow image. Hi Ivan, fine shot of this wary sparrow. Nice light and sharp focus show the bird's lovely plumage patterns well. Well composed. Interesting how the alert state can be detected if one looks closely here. You have a good knowledge of birds to see that. I agree with the others about the WB but I see you have made note of it.
