Corvus monedula, german:Dohle, engl:Jackdaw
Until this vacation i had experienced these birds as relatively shy, with small approach-tolerance and very intelligent. That is why i couldnīt get a good shot of them. I was surprised to find them much less shy on the marketplace in Karlshamn (Blekinge, South of Sweden). I was able to shoot some nice pictures with acceptable focal length.
One of them is this portrait of those beautiful birds.

Hi Werner, very nice portrait of this Jackdaw. The colour is good, the detail in his plumage is excellent. I like the pose you caught him in looking back over his shoulder. Nicely done.
