The cute Yellowhammer obviously feels the warming rays of the sun Ulla, looks quite happy my friend, you somehow succeeded in including some colorful lichens within this fine comp!

Wonderful fresh picture of a cute bird, Ulla. Thank God, you had a sunny day.
The image is well composed. I like the location of the tree; those lichen covered branches make it so natural and authentic for the subject to be resting and enjoying the sunshine.

Beautiful shot of the Yellowhammer, nicely composed shot with a great POV and fine pose, excellent feather detail aswell as the texture on the branches, its a very nice colour pallet, I especially like the blend of yellows from the bird and the lichen on the branches complimented by the blue sky behind.

Beautiful Yellowhammer in a beautiful environment. Very good sharpness, details and POV. A bit of noise in the blue BG. But the colours are great. Fine composition.

Hi Ulla.We have not seen the snow but we have had rain most of the day. This is a bird we use to see a lot of in Dorset but very few now not to sure why. I do like the colours and markings they have whicjh you have capturedso well with fine detail. well done TFS.

Very, very nice shot Ulla!
Yellowhammers are rarely seen (over here atleast) and just there song is commonly heard but you got a splendid image of it!
We can see the unusual beak and magnificent bright plumage with great clarity.
Superb detail in the feathers and brilliant sharpness.
All the lichen is a bonus!

What a sweet little bird - we have them in NZ and I see them now and then - well I think we do. It's either Yellowhammers, so something similar.
He is quite camouflaged among the lichen covered branches. Good eye-catch too,
