Hello Ivan,

Very nice picture of this fieldfare. Very good composition. Good sharpness. Very nice natural colours. It is good to see blue sky :-). We had snow and now it is rain. Still one week to wait for good weather.

Bel ritratto di Turdus pilaris, in italiano cesena, una post-produzione ottima con dettagli ancora molto buoni, tranne nelle zone in ombra comunque limitate, molto bella la posa di cui apprezzo la lucentezza dell'occhio e il profilo del becco, eccellenti i colori. Nice to see Turdus pilaris with your great shot. I am not luck on Turdus shots. maybe except for T. merula. But it gave a great pose to you. Sharp focus and nice composition, beuatiful colors. Good notes always. TFS, best wishes my friend

You should give some Masters Class in how to shoot these birds with the sky background. All seem to have their own special settings and I do believe that the sky is slightly different in latitudes..Very nicely done Ivan,. good to see from you!

Outstanding shot of this beautiful Fieldfare with amazing details and colours on its plumage. Superb natural lighting and exposure levels and I like the way looks at you from the corner of its eye. The blue sky as BG works wonders here and the vertical branches form a nice effect. Excellent POV and composition. Kudos.

Bella la foto de este Tordo. Muy parecido a los de America, sin embargo este tiene diferents colores en su plumaje. El pico y el anillo en sus ojos son similares.

Hi Ivan. Thanks for the kind comments on the Brambling . Well done for a first for you to. I have seen them all winter in the forest but have not been able to get a shot. This is very good with clead details in the markings making it better for me to ID now. good natural colours and good use of the bight sun light you had that dad.

Fantastic shot of this Fieldfare!
I once saw a flock of these birds in a farmer's field but that's the only time I've ever seen one and thi photo has shown a much clearer view of this bird so thanks for sharing this!

Sharp and crisp with good detail.

A fine specimen captured from quite far away Ivan, but the take still produced a finely focused and detailed image in spite of the heavy cropping, a good pointer to your expertise under such difficult conditions. Thank you for sharing both this fine image and your expertise with us my friend.

Very nice color, clarity, light, and details Ivan, great work at 15 meters..Wouldn't it be nice if the small birds would be less weary or land a bit closer? ;}
Well composed with a good POV, and the branches form a good natural frame without getting in the way..

I see Ulla's shots are so superb as yours only cameras are too different. What would be if you change the equipment. My forecast is will be nothing. Very nice bird picture and classic subject. Calmness of the bird is very attractive, I like excellent details of the image, vivid colours despite the season and perfect composition. Well done and TFS.
