[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Today a small butterfly I met durings yesterdays walk,it is a quite common butterfly in sweden and it is on wings until june,I rotated the picture a bit as the butterfly was hanging up side down and I thought this looked better,I guess it is my first upload of this colorfull green metallic butterfly,hope you like it and tfw

The Green Hairstreak
The Green Hairstreak is a small butterfly, which is still widespread across most of the UK, although many colonies have been lost in recent years. Widespread across Europe and North Africa and eastwards through Asia well into Siberia. The upperside is a uniform dull brown with two paler patches on the male's forewings made up of scent scales. The undersides are a bright green with a thin white line, often reduced to a faint row of dots or even missing altogether. They never rest with their wings open.

Hi Paul

Haven't seen this species before. Good shot, though I would have been tempted to leave it upside down, I think the rotation looks a bit artificial.
Good sharpness and DOF.
