[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Today a sunny although not as warm as the weekend,went out for a walk on the butterfly trail in stora vika,although not that many present yet,I think I made some nice captures,let the macro season begin.

I think I photographed the following insects,hope you can correct me if I am wrong:

Butterflies:
Real's wood white
Small blue
Grizzled skipper

Hoverfly:unknown id

Dragonfly: Downy Emerald (thanks to Ivan)

All pictures are made with 200 f4 macro lens and an 1.4 x teleconverter and the use of fill flash,I hope with the new 300k upload limit the compilage did not loose too much quality,hope you like it and tfw.

die lenzen zijn wel bijzonder scherp Paul.
prachtige foto, machtig om te zien hoe de hooverfly zich in het geel stort. pracht werk. Laat het seizoen beginnen.

Als dit je collectie van 1 weekend is dan staan ons nog heel wat mooie macro-shots te wachten.

Hello Paul,
Really good start to the macro season with 4 superb images in a fine collage. I am impressed not only by the pictures but that you could correctly ID Real's Wood white!
The dragonfly is the Downy Emerald, Cordulia aenea, but the ID of the fine close up of the hoverfly is beyond me.
